Psychophysiological Measures
Through a unique collaboration, Merchant Mechanics is positioned to connect clients with a team of researchers possessing expertise in the use of psychophysiological measures. Such measures provide clients with direct indices of psychological processes including interest and arousal (e.g., eye tracking, skin conductance), effort (pupil dilation), attitudes and evaluative responses (facial electromyography), and overall neural activity (electroencephalography).
Psychophysiological measures can provide information above and beyond traditional self-reports, including processes for which consumers lack awareness, and are not subject to reporting biases. All measures are noninvasive, safe, and FDA approved. Our team of researchers have a combined 20+ years of experience with such measures and are published in major journals, including Psychophysiology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Cognition and Emotion, and more.
